First day of autumn and I'm seeing spring return.

As the end of summer rolled in, flowers, showing signs of spring, began appearing all around the town. Leaves, which had hurried to turn yellow, and which had made themselves quite comfortable on the cobblestone streets, were now given back their scent of June and green colour.

The September wind travelling along the paths turned right around and began moving in the opposite direction, away from the town, and with him, lifting the now youthful leaves up in the air. Twirling, spinning, as though dancing in the rhythm of a waltz, each leaf was returned to its rightful home up in the trees.

The sun, in the midst of setting, slowed down her pace - there was no more rush to end the day so soon.

Apples turned back into blossoms, I jumped back into the sea and ....

and....

and thanked the universe for getting almost shat on by a bird while writing this story.
